I've been busy in the studio lately, but my new phone (with a great camera) has been giving me difficulty with uploading pictures.  I will upload new pictures very soon of more recent work.  Joe Kwon's yakitori pot, a few new cups and other work will be posted as soon as I figure out the stupid "smart" phone.  Thank you for being patient!  : )

Jack's Avett cup, Melody's vase (she threw the vase and I carved it for her), and Davina's Marshall cup.  The  Marshall cup is dark green, but it looks better to me in black and white.

Hey, got the cup today and it's AMAZING! For now my first stuffed animal is chilling in it, but I can't wait to drink from it! Also, thanks for the letter, that was a really funny story. Keep up the great work!

These photos were taken July 10 & 11.  I was recycling some clay on Saturday and carving a vase and a cup on Sunday.  The vase is a present from some cool friends to a special girl . . . . I can't wait to hear what they think when it arrives.

Julianne – back in February, Laura Davenport had you make a vase for me that had the portraits of my collies Sable and Lassie on it.  You have no idea how much that meant to me and I just wanted to say thank you and to commend you on the quality and beauty of your work!

I am writing now because Laura let me know today that you have a picture of that vase out on your website.  That means more than you know because we unexpectedly lost Sable this past Friday, the 25th.  She was 12 ½ years old and she had been a part of our family since we brought her home at the tender age of 6 weeks.  My husband and I are broken hearted but I’m glad to see that she is “famous” as Laura says – thank you for making our babies a part of your website.  That just has more meaning now than ever.
