How to place a pottery order

I am now collecting full payment or a deposit for artwork via PayPal prior to creating work.  This does not include shipping.  Shipping will be calculated once the order is complete and ready to be shipped.

If you have questions, please send an email to me using the contact form below.  All of my work is created with your ideas and my hands.  I can pretty much make whatever you can come up with.  : )

Have an awesome idea for a project for me to complete?

It can take anywhere from 2.5 weeks or more to create, carve, bisque fire, glaze, and glaze fire your piece.  Orders are coming in pretty steadily, so please send me pictures/quotes and ideas as soon as you have them.  The holidays are very busy, so please order by the end of October for Christmas, as it will be hectic!  Time crunch!?  If you want to order something for a date only a week or two away, I can usually create & photograph the item and email you images.  You can present the photograph to your friend and I can ship it to them after it is fired and ready.

Contract for Artistic Services

Deposit for Vases, Sculptures & Urns
Deposit is required for artist to begin work on vases, sculptures and urns.  55% or $150 (whichever is less) is required when order is submitted.  This amount is for each piece.  If ordering two vases, the deposit would be $300.  Deposits are non-refundable, unless artist has not yet begun work.  Deposit can be paid through PayPal in the form of credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers, or can mail a check directly to the artist.  The deposit must clear prior to artist beginning work.  In the case of returned checks, artist will contact client and not begin work until deposit is secured.

Personal Information
Client must provide artist with photograph and typed (or legibly handwritten) genealogy, poem, song, or words to be carved on ceramic artwork.  Client agrees to allow artist to use photograph and information to create an original work of art.  Photographs may be taken by artist as documentation and will be used strictly for examples of ceramic artwork.

Artistic License
Client understands that the artist will use the photograph provided to create an original piece of art.  Client does not expect photographic quality on the ceramic piece, but does expect quality.  The methods used will create a print or etching like image.  The artist agrees to work diligently to make the image comparable to the photograph provided.  If client is unsatisfied with the artwork and wishes not to purchase, the deposit will be forfeited.  If client decides to re-order, they will receive a 20% discount on the replacement.

Shipping/Delivery (Cups, Vases, Sculptures & Urns)
Shipping will be calculated once the artwork is completed.  Client will pay for shipping at the exact cost of shipping. Client will pay for shipping before order is shipped.

Paying deposit means that the client understands the Contract for Artistic Services and have read it in its entirety.

Thank you for your interest!
